Plant Costume Party

Val’s Lesbian Bar goes full garden drag for another Plant Party, this time a costume party running 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM on Friday October 2.

Host itsvalencii wants you dressed as a vegetable, a fruit, or an homage to one specific flower. Music comes from blackmdna, Yosuke, and Lorbooo, and there is an art raffle running through the night.

Every dollar goes to Iglesias Gardens, the North Philadelphia urban farm and community space that has spent years turning vacant lots into food, green space, and gathering room for the neighborhood. Raising money for a garden by dressing as one is the kind of logic Val’s does well.

The event is 21 and over with valid ID. Costumes are the whole point, so put in the effort.
