Show your Flow
Aerials | Pole | Burlesque & Drag | Flow Arts | Acro
Pack of Queers (A Siren Pack & Cirqueer Productions collaboration) is hosting Show Your Flow – a community gathering for nightlife entertainers on Monday August 21st at The Nest in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia.
Show Your Flow is an inclusive environment that welcomes performers of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced artists. Whether you’re just starting out or have been honing your craft for years, this event is a great opportunity to showcase your talents and connect with different and familiar people in the industry including casting producers!
Our intention with this event is to bridge some of the gaps between the ever-evolving roles within the performing arts industry. This event is for anyone looking to be more plugged in to the Philly nightlife industry regardless of experience level or affiliation with a group or troupe.
-Connect with producers
-Get an idea of the types of skills, talents and performance options there are
-Hear firsthand insider’s knowledge of the industry through performer’s experience
If we need to make this more affordable, please reach out. We do not want to turn anyone away. Please email us at [email protected]. While there are costs to cover for this community experience, we can also welcome volunteers and/or we may have donations that can support you!
Extra Benefits of “Show Your Flow”
If you’re looking for more opportunities within the nightlife industry with active Producers and Performers in the scene, Show Your Flow is an additional option for networking.
-It may not always be possible to purchase tickets to go to every nightlife show in the city to be seen by producers. It may not even be financially feasible for all performers to do so. We understand this.
-Show Your Flow also isn’t an audition. As Siren Pack productions and Cirqueer productions both cast consistent shows/events based on various reasons, what’s more important for us is to see your body in flow while you play versus engaging in a formal audition.
-This community gathering is also open to all performers across all fields. Even if you aren’t an Acro person or Aerialist…let’s say your a Circus performer, it may still be beneficial to come play, learn something new and still SHOW YOUR FLOW.
-It doesn’t matter what your affiliation or troupe is. It doesn’t matter which school of burlesque or circus you went through. It doesn’t matter which shows you mostly get booked in….you can attend and play.
-All SKILL LEVELS and performance levels are welcome.
-As this is a protected space, any problematic people who lack accountability however will not be allowed.
