The Stonewall Awards
The Stonewall Awards honor the trailblazing Philadelphians whose advocacy, activism, and leadership have shaped the city’s LGBTQ+ movement. Held at Arts Ballroom (1324 Locust Street) on the morning of Philly Pride 2026’s main march and festival, the Awards set the tone for the day’s celebration of “Pride Is Power.”
The ceremony honors community organizers, healthcare advocates, artists, business leaders, and youth leaders who have made measurable impact on Philadelphia’s LGBTQ+ community over the past year. Named in honor of the 1969 Stonewall Riots — the watershed moment of modern LGBTQ+ liberation — the awards root Philly’s contemporary work in the broader history of queer resistance.
Held just hours before the Philly Pride March steps off at 13th and Spruce, the Stonewall Awards bring together Pride Weekend’s leadership, sponsors, and honorees in one room. Arts Ballroom is in the heart of the Gayborhood. Doors open shortly before 11:00 AM.
