Tom Wilson Weinberg is at it again…

Executive Director of PhillyGayCalendar

I wasn’t aware of this but apparently every composer has a trunk (or foot locker if you will) of tunes. The songs in this locker are ones that didn’t make it past rehearsal, funny ones, standard favorites and also numbers no one’s heard yet. At the 2008 Philly Fringe Festival this year, you will be treated to a witty and charming hour of words and music in Tom Wilson Weinberg’s Foot Locker.

I got to take a glimpse into Foot Locker during a preview at Plays and Players Theatre, with Jean Francois Proulx on piano and Keith Kaczorowski in a dapper vest, displaying his velvety voice. There are 2 more nights (Aug 18 and 25) to catch more of the Fringe Festival Preview Series if you are interested.

Kaczorowski will be singing the songs while Weinberg tickle’s the ivories (and sing a little too) at William Way LGBT Community Center 1315 Spruce Street The performance dates for Foot Locker are September 12 and September 13th, at 7pm and 9pm each night. Reserve tickets here

The sneak peak into the show was beyond promising proving that Foot Locker will be a smash hit evening of piano and song.
