Frankie Rowles is a Philadelphia actor, illustrator and graphic designer who has worked in and around the city for more than a decade. He started the ongoing Drink and Draw event, illustrated drag performer Eric Jaffe's coloring book, designed the Ray the Unicorn character for the Spectrum LGBTQ & Ally Employee Resource Group, and painted the mural outside Cockatoo. He trained at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and spent years in theater, including the title role in Tarzan, before bringing his performing and visual work together in Philadelphia.
