This Friday at Tabu Lounge & Sports Bar, three of the biggest names in the Gayborhood join forces to bring you the Tongue In Cheek Cabaret!

Brittany Lynn, Honeytree EvilEye, and Joey Martini are showcasing the newest faces in drag, cabaret, and burlesque who will share the stage with some of the best performers in the tri-state area.

“We wanted to give a space for new talent to perform and learn the ropes without judgement. A lot of opportunities for new performers involve competing in lengthy competitions and sometimes end up hindering the performer. This show allows full freedom by taking away the pressures of competing, the newbies can learn from the more experienced talents and this is a great gateway for them to get booked into other venues and to network.”-Ian Morrison aka Brittany Lynn.

 The Tongue In Cheek Cabaret features performances by 9 rotating talents, and the hosts will be giving you some dinner theater realness by improvising a backstory. Friday night, as Tabu becomes the Cheeky Theater, a theater that has been open for decades as a venue for vaudeville, burlesque, cabaret, and much, much more. The venue's hostess for the past 30 years, the always over-the-top and dramatic, Miss Edna Cheeky (Brittany Lynn), is now ready to finally retire and is auditioning new acts to find her replacement. Lucky for her she has the top two talents in town, her stagehand (Joey Martini), and her talent coordinator (Timaree Leigh), bringing Miss Cheeky a slew of new acts from all over the city. The scenes between each act will be totally improvised and will lead up to a big finale only to be witnessed in person!

Who will be the new face of the Cheeky Theater? This lineup of performers will be facing their biggest audition and the theater world's biggest pain in the ass-in this fun-filled show featuring  Brittany Marie, the Necrosexual, Dennis Preski, Tesla Baretta, Madame HellCat, Ms. Red,  Annie Christ, Dusty Relix, and SIY'VONCE!
