IBA – LGBT Chamber of Commerce Turns 10

The Independence Business Alliance (IBA), Greater Philadelphia’s LGBT Chamber of Commerce is celebrating its 10th Anniversary on Wednesday, May 10th. Usually for 10th Anniversaries, you get tin or aluminum (what does that even means?!) but IBA is celebrating in style with a gala extravaganza. 

Hosted at the Downtown Club (this will be largerst LGBT event ever hosted at the venue) from 6 PM – 9PM, IBA10 will be a night filled with delicious food from Cescaphe, a three hour top shelf open bar, living entertainment, presentation of the PNC Business Award and special guest, Jonathan Capehart, Pulitzer Prize-winning Washington Post/MSNBC Journalist will be presented with the IBA Influencer Award.

With over 300 members and leaders from the LGBT and business communities plus local and state governments officials, Mayor Jim Kenney AND leaders from the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce…this will be the event of the spring for the LGBT community.

Come celebrate Philadelphia LGBT history and learn more about upcoming strategies to continue to serve, development and advocate for LGBT economic development, growth, diversity and leadership in the region.
