Darling Jack’s Tavern

Darling Jack’s Tavern is a gastropub from lesbian power couple Chef Marcie Turney and Valerie Safran, the duo behind much of 13th Street’s restaurant row in the Gayborhood. Located at the corner of 13th and Sansom, it serves elevated pub fare — think smash burgers, mussels, and craft cocktails — in a warm, wood-paneled space. Part of the Safran Turney Hospitality family that includes Barbuzzo, Little Nonna’s, Bud & Marilyn’s, Open House, and Verde.
