Prevention Meets Fashion

Prevention Meets Fashion (PMF) is a Philadelphia-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that uses a unique fashion-based approach to increase sexual and reproductive health knowledge in Black, LGBTQIA+, and nonbinary communities. Founded in 2018 by Nhakia Outland, PMF runs programs including the Social Justice and Fashion Group, Gender-Based Violence Prevention Project, an Affirming Fashion clothing redistribution program, and annual community events. The organization serves the Philadelphia area and surrounding counties.
