Sisters Affirming Sisterhood Project

The Sisters Affirming Sisterhood (SAS) Project is a West Philadelphia-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing gender-affirming clothing and resources to transgender women and others in need. The organization redistributes donated garments, runs pop-up closets, holds skills workshops in mending and garment alteration, and advocates for sustainable fashion and workers’ rights. SAS Project has participated in New York Fashion Week in 2024 and 2025, showcasing work by trans, disabled, and BIPOC designers. Founded by Salome Hall.
