Philly’s Favorite Drag Superstar, Vinchelle, has released a new song – Wake It Up. Check it out below:

VinChelle is a multi-talented performer who sings, dances and does comedy. She is also known as the Multi-State Tribal Queen because she performs and produces shows in Philadelphia, New York, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. She was voted 2017 Philadelphia Drag Queen of the Year and Best Hostess. She also runs Shea Butter Werk Productions, a company that showcases diverse drag talent and promotes social justice causes. She hosts two popular podcasts: “Black Girl Magic Philly” and “The Black Dairies”, where she discusses topics such as race, gender, sexuality and pop culture. She is originally from Nashville, TN and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre from the University of Arts. She started doing drag at age 27 after being inspired by RuPaul’s Drag Race. She describes her drag style as “tribal glam” and her influences include Beyoncé, Tina Turner and Whitney Houston.
